Well, I'm off!
After a rather nerve-racking few minutes at the Delta kiosk where I was told that my ticket couldn't be found, I was cleared to get started on this crazy trip. So now, after a glass of wine and a tearful goodbye with my parents, I'm about to get started on this crazy adventure. I have no idea of what to expect but I am nervous and excited at the same time! I've been trying to review as much Italian as possible, but honestly, I think that my first couple of weeks in Italy, people will think I'm a little crazy as I try to communicate in broken Italian and wild gesticulations. :) Thanks to everyone who wished me well and got me drunk at my going-away party! I'll keep you all updated about my adventures!
